Today I will be reviewing my first experience with the Beautyboxkorea.com website!
Starting with the website layout, I would say that the website is fairly easy to browse. I have had no problem using it. There are definitively points I wish that would be improved, such as being able to select how many items you want to view per page, but these are minor and did not affect my experience with the website.
I placed my order on the 9th of June. It shipped out on the 13th and it arrived to me on the 6th of July. It took about a month to arrive to me, which isn’t bad considering it’s coming from South Korea all the way to Canada.
As for the parcel itself, it arrived in very good condition. The box was wrapped in a pink plastic to prevent water damage. The customs declaration was marked as gift for 33$. In Canada, you usually get exempt from taxes and duties if a parcel marked as a gift is under 60$, so it was nice to see that it did not get caught at customs.
Everything was packaged nicely inside the box, with extra bubble to ensure that the items do not move around the box during shipment.
I ordered two Peripera lip tints, and 3 Etude House water lip tints! The Etude House tints were sold out everywhere else, so I am glad to have found them on BBK!
Here is the samples I have received with my order, which is a good amount considering how much purchased.
Do take in mind, that if you do register an account with BBK, you will receive 3$ and a 7% off coupon for your order!
Final thoughs
I’m glad I gave this website a try. I notice that they carry a lot of unique items that I cannot find on any other websites. The prices are nice and competitive. The shipment was okay, but it’s not entirely the store’s fault for how fast shipping works. I do wish it was a bit more affordable. For ordering a single item, it might be expensive.
I recommend Beautyboxkorea.com to anyone who is looking to purchase anything from skincare to collector’s item, due to their wide variety of items!
