This is a lovely eyeshadow for those looking for sparkle. The consistency is not powdery but not quite cream and there is a binder so it's not loose pigment either. It's like a fine glitter paste. You should definitely use a primer base for this so all the glimmer particles stick. I used a primer and a flat shadow brush to pat it and build it onto my lids. It stayed all day and was just as glimmery from start to finish. There was a little glitter fallout and transfer but nothing major. I had a little trouble keeping it off my lashes on initial application but it was easily cleaned up wit a spoolie. The color #2 is a baby pink with gold flecks to it and worked with all my plum and brown shadows. I didn't get much of the pink color base payoff but the fine glitter comes across true. I think it would look great as an accent to a smokey eye contrasting against black too. I was hoping to use this on the inner corners of my eyes but it's more for the lid. Really beautiful and plays well with other shadows.
