[20161107-0000130]First impressions vs. After Finishing the Bottle and Some Comparisons.
I wanted to try an FTE for a long long time, but my toner (Hera White Program Radiance Water) would not die down!!! I did research to find the cheapest and best formulated FTE. For ~17 USD I think this wasn't bad at all. I liked that it had a really short list of ingredients. (I'll edit this post later when I have more time) and 90% galactomyces. I also noticed the Korean order and English ingredient order were different. There's also chinese! but Idk how to write out characters. It did not come with a separate instruction booklet.
- I found cheaper FTEs like the COSRX. This is a good FTE to come back to if I find that my skin likes FTEs. I found that it was too much in the winter time. I enjoyed using it with jojoba oil to layer it using the three skin method.
- Lee Ji Ham Dr.'s Care Propolis Ampoule
I wanted to try some honey because I had a positive experience with some sheet mask I forgot the name of that had honey, I found the Yeon's honey cream really really moisturizing, and the Mamonde Jasmine Rose Honey sleeping pack, so I decided to go for this.
This replaces the innisfree's jeju lava seawater intensive ampoule (10mLx4). I was using this for a long time and really liked it, but decided to go for this propolis one for my next chok chok fix. Out of the three propolis contenders (2Sol, CNP, and LJH chosen by Google auto-fill (thank you world)), I picked the LJH based on the fact that my skin really did well with vitamins. 2Sol and LJH both had over 50% as did skinfood actually, but I didn't pick skinfood because the ingredients weren't as clean as the 2Sol and LJH.
LJH had simpler ingredients so I picked that one. The reason I didn't go for the CNP is because though the price was identical at 22,000 won vs. 25,000 won (CNP), I didn't like the fact that it only had maybe 10% propolis.
Not completely done:
but almost out. I mixed this in with the skinfood royal honey good moisturizing cream to have plumped skin in the morning. It also helped calm my skin when I had painful acne scars. However it was less effective than the mediheal tea tree care solution mask, although it had worked for awhile. I will purchase this product again if I cannot find anything plumping.
I am not sure if I like it in this form, or how I find my skin likes propolis. Encouraged by the initial response I bought the CNP 2-step propolis energy ampule mask. It was kindof calming but it's not something I would reach for first.
I am Asian so this is my next attempt at finding the perfect eyecurler. surratt, elf, cheapo duane reade one all don't fit properly. I plan on recording the measurements and adding to the eyecurler measurements archive. This purchase was motivated by youtuber SSIN and the fact I'll have to pay X amount for shipping might as well buy as much as possible within reason right?
After:
FAIL! Does not fit!
I got interested in this product because of an online review. It ran me about ~3USD so I bought it. I was on the last legs of the seacret cleansing milk so voila! Replacement for mommy and me.
After:
Mom liked it a lot and I liked that it foams really densely. Because it's a pump-type product you can buy refills again which is greener. However I wanted to try something new.
- Atopalm Real Barrier Tone Up Sunblock SPF 50 PA+++
I watched a video on a review of different sunscreens, and this one won best overall for ingredients and also no white cast! So I thought it would be perfect for under makeup. I read blog posts which also said you can use this as a primer instead?? We will see.
Dr. Park of Atopalm developed cosmetics for his kids who have atopic dermatitis. As a company they try very hard to not put any potential irritants, mutagens, or carcinogens into their products. They seem to have a patent for a certain ceramide. (source: dermstore)
Almost done review:
this smells like plastic... it is a bit thicker in formula than I'd like however it had a lot of good skincare ingredients (soothing facial oils). Next round I went for a cheaper product.
I have never used the Shu Uemura Hard Formula eyebrow pencil, but this was one of the many dupes out there for it. Either way it was like around 2 USD. It will replace the Face Shop Lovely MEX Brow Master (now discontinued lol) in dark brown. I got red brown because mom has reddish hair.
Review:
Mom isn't using this even though I bought it for her. It's sitting there. However it lasts all day like its sister the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow. It is NOT a dupe for the Shu Uemura because that thing is So So So So So natural. For the price you get exactly what you paid for. It is much smaller quantity in this product than other automatic eyebrow pencils.
